Methodic
Methodic is the world's first basher movie. Originally pitched as
"Halloween" on steroids, Methodic captures all the elements of
classic horror from the moody atmosphere to the agonizing suspense
leading up to each kill.
Centered around a boy who is demonically possessed, ominous presence
known as "The Dollman", Nicholas Matthews is forced to obey his dark
half, and ultimately murders his parents. Sentenced to a life under
a microscope at the state mental hospital, the boy slowly gains
control over the darkness hiding within him.
But evil cannot be contained so easily. Instead, "The Dollman"
simply bides his time, dwelling inside the boy- waiting for the day
when he will become powerful enough to completely take over his
human host. And when that day comes, god help us all.
Chris .R. Notarile, director of "Methodic", has been making short
films for the last 4 years. With a resume of over 100 credits, Chris
has made quite a name for himself in the fan film world, producing
some of the more popular online shorts, such as "Catwoman (The
Diamond Exchange)" and "Power Girl (The Classifieds)".

Tomb Raider: Ascension
This fan film, directed by filmmaker Stephen Reynolds, tells the
story of how the young Lara Croft, a child of privilege and wealth,
becomes the Tomb Raider.
In a journey of adventure and self-discovery, Lara finds the truth
behind her mother's death, her father's disappearance, and her
uncle's obsession with the Ascension Stone, a sacred Mayan artifact,
believed to hold the secrets behind the end of the Mayan calendar in
2012. Tomb Raider: Ascension shows the journey of a young,
irresponsible and fallible woman learning how to deal with not only
the pressures of having to potentially save the world, but also
becoming an adult.
The Big Apple Convention is very proud to give this feature its
American debut.
